Calgary's very own Kristen Summersgill, is the creative mind behind POUT. Since her graduation in 2009, she left Lethbridge College with a Degree in Fashion Design, and since has pursued Fashion Design tirelessly.
This is a part 2 of 3 "Calgarians Bring Fashion" mini-series blog entry, and I'm introducing BoopyDoodle Accessories and Pout Clothing.
While many other burgeoning Calgary designers are presently immersed in the blur of runway shows and after-parties that is Alberta Fashion Week, Kirsten Summersgill, the impetus behind the locally-based line Pout Clothing, has a clearer goal in focus.
From the start to finish, models donning African inspired make-up (which could be compared to that of Kanye West’s dancers in the music video “Love Lock Down”) strutted the catwalk, featuring 3 widely talented designers: Arewa, Pout Clothingand Eleven Eleven Boutique
