POUT is the innovation of designer Kirsten Summersgill. Born and raised in Calgary Alberta, Kirsten's love of fashion started at a young age, learning to sew on her mother's sewing machine at the age of 14. The drive behind her sewing passion lay in the idea that she could create hand sewn one of a kind garments.
After graduating from high school, Kirsten enrolled at Lethbridge College. After graduating in 2009 with an honors diploma in Fashion Design, Kirsten moved back to Calgary to start an internship with Calgary designer Leah Bohnet with Broken doll Clothing.
Following her internship she launched POUT Clothing in May 2009. In Pouts fourth season Kirsten has showed the collection in Vancouver, and Alberta Fashion Week, and other local events.
Recently POUT has been featured in a local charity event hosted by What Not To Wear's Clinton Kelly to benefit the Calgary Women's Society.
POUT has been show cased in multiple Canadian and international publications including; The Province, Marzene, Parlour Life, and Conglomerate Magazine.
Pout is currently sold online and in three Canadian stores (see shop section) Kirsten currently resides in Calgary

Materials are strategically sourced to provide you with the most up to date trends, lavish fabrics, and staple pieces to easily update your wardrobe.
Every garment is 100% Canadian; All textiles are bought from Vancouver textile mills, all leather is Canadian trapped from montreal, and all steps in the design and the construction process takes place in Calgary.
